Healing House in conjuction with Delhomme Funeral Homes has recently established a new Resource Library. The Library, housed at Healing House, located at 707 Lee Ave., consist of publications dealing with death and grief issues.
Books and brochures that deal with a variety of issues are available. Subject matter covered in the books includes dealing with the death of a parent, sibling, spouse, friend or co-worker. Also included in the library are books regarding sudden or violent death, and suicide. Many books are availavle for parents facing these issues with their children as well as books written specifically for teachers and counselors that face these same issues with their students.
Materials may be checked out at the Healing House free of charge.
