Young Adult Support Group

While Healing House is primarily focused on children, we understand that young adults, aged 18 – 39, may find it difficult to find a group that fits their needs.

They are too old for a teenage group, but too young for an older, adult support group, yet they experience the same feelings of loss and sadness following the death of a loved one.

That’s why we created the Young Adult Support Group. It connects young adults with their peers – providing a safe space to share their thoughts and emotions, and to build support and fellowship with other members of the group.

The Young Adult Support Group is facilitated by a mental health professional and registration is not required to join this group.

Our group meets every other Monday from 6-7:30 PM

Our virtual Young Adult Grief Support Group meets every other Tuesday from 6-7:30 PM and is available for Louisiana residents 18 and older.   Please complete the Young Adult Intake above to be sent the link for the Virtual Support Group.
